Travelling cross-country, taking the scenic route back to Seattle. Who knew you could find great coffee in Mission, SD? Equal to or better than some Seattle area coffee shops. Great atmosphere and food! Can't wait to come back!

Morning Light Café is a great little find in the middle of Mission. We made a point to drop by here every morning we were working with the Episcopalian Mission on the Rosebud Reservation and pick up a cup of their dark roast and one of their terrific breakfast sandwiches or wraps. We give it a 5-star because there is nothing within miles on the rez that offers what they do.
They have locally roasted coffee, expresso drinks, fresh baked scones, and DELICIOUS soups and sandwiches. The staff is really friendly, and it's a good space to hang out (free wifi). Five stars.
This is a fantastic spot. Cozy coffee shop with free wifi, coffee and drink variety, and amazing breakfast burritos. They hosted an open mic night a couple months ago that really impressed me.
